CE Broker is now the official CE tracking system of the South Carolina Real Estate Commission. Your board had provided you with a free Basic Account, so you have our most helpful CE tracking tools right at your fingertips. Starting July 1, 2017, each course provider for SC certified courses began uploading the continuing education course in order to provide proof of your meeting the continuing education requirements prior to your license renewal. Which means, if you have taken any education with any provider they should have up loaded the continuing education course in CE Broker. IF IT WAS A CERTIFIED SC COURSE. This is to ensure that every licensee has taken the required courses. If the uploads show a deficiency, you will not be able to complete the renewal process.
This week the SC Community Alliance launched its full campaign against the proposed new impact fees in York County.
The campaign features emails, mail, tv and social media ads to educate the public on the issue.
SCR applied for and received $150,000 from the NAR Issues Mobilization Committee (during the NAR DC meetings two weeks ago) to help support this campaign.
Here's a link to the web page: https://www.stoptheyorkcountyhometax.com/
The Fort Mill School District is already lobbying York County Council to pass the highest fee possible, $19,000 and more if allowed. In a market desperately short on inventory, impact fees will hurt first time homebuyers. And that's just the tip of the iceberg.
Why Use A REALTOR?
The Piedmont Regional Association of REALTORS is a professional trade association of over 500 licensed real estate agents.
Our members abide by a strict code of ethics and have access to a wide variety of business services that are not available to non-REALTORS. This gives them a competitive edge in the marketplace, enabling them to provide superior services to buyers and sellers of real property.
Use this site to find a REALTOR find out the current status of home sales or to compare home prices in a neighborhood in which you may be interested.
All real estate licensees are not the same. Only real estate licensees who are members of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® are properly called REALTORS®. They proudly display the REALTOR "®" logo on their business card or other marketing and sales literature. REALTORS® are committed to treat all parties to a transaction honestly. REALTORS® subscribe to a strict code of ethics and are expected to maintain a higher level of knowledge of the process of buying and selling real estate. An independent survey reports that 84% of home buyers would use the same REALTOR® again.
Like finding the right house, selecting a REALTOR® you can trust and comfortably work with is paramount. Just as you wouldn't be casual in the selection of your doctor or your attorney, you shouldn't take the selection of your REALTOR® lightly. Indeed, the best way to find such a professional is through recommendations from family and friends. Of course, you should interview several REALTORS® before you choose one. If you're selling your home, you should ask the candidates how they plan to market your home, what pricing advice they can offer, and what other suggestions they can provide to further enhance the desirability of your home.
